A real crawler reads up to six public pages, respects robots.txt and reports only what it can observe. It cannot see internal systems, and a missing statement is not evidence of non-compliance.
What the scanner checks
- Whether a privacy notice is discoverable from the homepage, and whether it mentions automated decision-making or profiling.
- Whether a chat widget is present and whether an AI or virtual-assistant disclosure appears in page text.
- Whether a contact mechanism and terms are visible.
- Whether AI-generated content labelling language or a public AI use statement exists.
- Whether absolute accuracy or compliance claims appear that regulators expect to be substantiated.
- Whether a consent management tool is detected.
Technical safety
Only public http/https pages on domain names are scanned; private, link-local and metadata addresses are blocked; redirects are re-validated; crawl size and time are capped; results are cached for 24 hours; no personal data is extracted or stored. Please scan only sites you are permitted to analyse.
